Asterisk is an open source PBX. It is quite powerful and as a result very complex. I have been configuring an Asterisk server for my company and to aid my work have setup one of my own at home. It's running on a server that has other tasks and only has a Pentium 200. Some posts with interesting things I've done with asterisk will be following shortly. All will be taken from my own personal server. If you wish to call my Asterisk server, or even myself through it, it can be reached via the following routes. Note that I do not keep my soft phone connected all the time. * Free World Dialup - My number is 788927. Also reachable via POTS through NOTaDuck. * IAXTel - My number is 17005561908. * SIPphone - My number is 17476027121. This may not work all the time. * Directly using an IAX2 client.
